- October 2010 - Martini Madness Fund Raiser at The Store on Halsted
- November 2010 - Fall Tutor/Mentor Leadership and Networking Conference
Throughout the year Cabrini Connections and the Tutor/Mentor Connection host events that have multiple goals
a) they build public awareness in the work we do
b) they draw volunteers to us who provide time, and talent, to help us
c) they encourage people to donate money to help pay the bills, and fuel our innovation

Each event on our year-round calendar has an immediate impact, raising money at that time of the year, for instance. At the same time, they are intended to get people thinking three, six, nine and 12 months into the future. For instance, as we head toward June and our year end dinner, we want to raise money, and we also want to re-connect alumni with our current students and volunteers. However, during the dinner we want people thinking of what they can do over the summer, so when August comes, we have momentum to recruit volunteers and students to help us start the new year.
