Tech Club

Tech Club currently meets on Tuesdays from 6 to 7pm. You can follow their progress on the Tech Club Blog.

Goal: Teach youth the computer and internet skills they need to be successful in an increasingly technology-dependent world.

The Internet is a valuable resource if you know how to use it. It is:

• A way to keep youth and volunteers connected with each other during and after their time at Cabrini Connections
• An opportunity to learn from people beyond your own neighborhood
• A resource for unlimited learning, enrichment and motivational activities.

Tech Club students learn how to:

• Find information online
• Be safe online
• Use online social networking to their benefit
• Have fun experimenting with new technologies
• Use technology to express themselves through writing and design

Tech Club was started in 2001 by a team of volunteers who use computers and technology every day in their jobs and careers. In the last year it has struggled from lack of volunteer leadership and we are actively recruiting new talent to meet regularly with our students.
