Cabrini Connections would like to thank each and every person that helped to put the event together and/or came out to support the event!
Organizations in on the planning process include Union League Boys and Girls Clubs, BUILD, Cabrini Connections, Chicago Public Schools, Final Explosion, and La Casa Norte.
The event was brought to you by Youth Ready Chicago. Mayor Daley’s Youth Ready Chicago program connects young people, ages 14 to 24, with internships, apprenticeships and jobs within Chicago’s public and private business sectors. Each opportunity offers youth hands-on experience and an opportunity to gain marketable skills, supporting a successful transition from school into the workforce.
THANK YOU and continue to make GOING BACK TO SCHOOL COOL!!!

Students
The Student Spotlight features a current student or graduate of Cabrini Connections. This feature is posted periodically throughout the year as a way to showcase the wonderful work our students are doing!
Cabrini Connections is now accepting applications for the 2010-11 school year. Students must be able to meet with volunteer tutors/mentors in one-on-one tutoring/mentoring each week at our site at 800 W. Huron. Students must have a positive attitude, and obey all house rules. Students can join for summer learning clubs that are taking place now, then be matched with a mentor as school is starting in September.
Cabrini Connections is a program that combines one-on-one tutoring and mentoring with a variety of group learning activities.
