Cabrini Allumnae - Willie Hatcher is a Freshman at St.Francis College in Ft Wayne In. He red shirted his freshman season and is now looking to get some playing time in his sophomore year. More importantly his is determined to get at least a 3.2 gpa for the second semester. Photo album

Graduation Dollars

One of the many great resources that Cabrini Connections provides the students that participate in the program is an ability to earn points and graduation dollars for every student who enters AND completes the program.

The amount a student earns is based on an accumulation of the points that the students earn while participating in the program. Students earn points for attendance, special projects, completed Weekly Reflection sheets, submitting report cards, etc.

Alumni Updates

Cabrini Connections was launched in 1993. Since then, more than 525 low-income, inner-city teens have participated in one to seven full years of one-on-one tutoring, mentoring and group learning activities.

  • 58% of these teens have been in one-on-one mentoring for two or more years.
  • 36% (169 teens) have participated for three or more years.

How to Join?

Cabrini Connections welcomes 7th-12th graders to join our program. Students must be able to attend weekly Wednesday or Thursday evening sessions, have a positive attitude, and obey all house rules.

Students meet with volunteer tutor/mentors on a one-on-one basis once each week at our site at 800 W. Huron. Sessions are offered on Wednesday or Thursday evenings from 6:00 -8:00 p.m.
